Jack Behne - Physiotherapist, Caloundra Sportscare
We are happy to welcome Jack Behne who joined our team at Caloundra Sportscare in March 2010. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 2008, Jack has provided care to members from the entire Sunshine Coast community through his experience at the local hospitals (Caloundra, Nambour and Gympie) - primarily in their respective musculoskeletal outpatient and orthopaedic departments. As a born
and raised Caloundra local, he is excited to continue and develop his career here.
Jack is an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist, with an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy – particularly the spine, shoulder and knee. Owing to his hospital experience, Jack has insight into the necessity of preventative medicine and health care – in both young and older populations – and the importance of avoiding injury and hospitalisation.
Jack loves working with the wide range of sports people on the Coast. From rugby leage players to dancers, he is facinated with the unique stresses and strains each sport imposes on the body, and finds it challenging and rewarding to get to an injury's source and have clients back doing what they love. He has also provided sideline physiotherapy services to the local Queensland Cup Rugby League team, the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles.
Jack personally enjoys his sport, paddles for the local outrigger canoe club, has swum at a nation level and plays beach and indoor volleyball.
