Massage techniques parents can use on their swimmers at home

These techniques are designed to improve specific movements swimmers need in order to swim fast. In behind the shoulder blade has a lot of trigger points and can get really tight.

Get your swimmer to lay on their side and put their arm up and over their head. You can use any moisturising cream and you only need to do this for a few minutes at a time.

It’s better to perform these massage techniques a few times per week rather than for long periods of time.
