What we treat

Foot

Bunion
Bony growth or swelling on the outside base of the big toe, resulting in mild discomfort to extensive pain, potentially caused by ill-fitting shoes.

Metatarsal Pain
Also known as Metatarsalgia, this affects one or more of the metatarsal heads in the ball of the foot. The delicate balance between bones is disrupted, the result can be mild to intense foot pain. Causes of metatarsal pain include stress fractures, overuse, arthritis, high heels and being overweight.

Plantar Faciitis
Inflammation of the band of tissue on the sole of the foot which runs from the heel to the ball of the foot forming an arch of the instep. Causes can include lack of stretching before exercise, running on hard pavements, being overweight and over-pronation. If left untreated planta fasciitis turns into heel spur.

Heel Spurs
Also known as calcaneal spur, heel spur can result if planta fasciitis is left untreated. Osteoblasts form on the bone which result in calcification within the plantar fascia, these formations are known as heel spurs.

This can be from bending, sitting, lifting, twisting or from running/ jumping. It can be traumatic or from repetitive/prolonged forces. read more
