Real Time Ultrasound - Caloundra, Warana, Kawana

Sportscare physiotherapists utilise real time ultrasound imaging to assist with the assessment of clients at our Warana, Kawana and Caloundra clinics. Real time ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive technology  that provides imaging of the stabilising muscles of the lumbar spine. This allows the physiotherapist to view the stabilising muscles as the muscle contraction occurs providing an accurate assessment of the quality, timing and endurance of the stabilising muscle contraction. As the patient can view the image and see their muscle contract, real time ultrasound provides important feedback to the patient on how well they are performing their exercises.

Ideal for use in pregnancy, strengthening the stabilising muscles and back pain phone Sportscare or book an appointment for real time ultrasound in Caloundra, Kawana or Warana.

This can be from bending, sitting, lifting, twisting or from running/ jumping. It can be traumatic or from repetitive/prolonged forces. read more
