Jess Turnbull graduated from the SUNY University at Albany, USA, in 2009 with a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences. During her time at SUNY Albany, she assisted the sports medicine staff with the college gridiron and athletics teams and developed an interest in sports physiotherapy. Jess continued her studies in Australia, graduating from the University of Queensland in 2012 with a post-graduate Masters degree in physiotherapy studies. While undertaking her physiotherapy studies, Jess worked as a sports trainer for various teams including the Brisbane Lions and the Brisbane Lions Academy.
Jess joined the Sportscare Kawana team following her graduation and currently works with the Sunshine Coast Falcons and junior representative sides. With her keen interest in sport, Jess has extensive experience with taping techniques for numerous injuries and conditions.
Jess has also completed Levels 1 and 2 in Pilates with Dance Medicine Australia, an Australian Physiotherapy Association approved educator. Her main areas of interest include running and lower-limb injuries, football injuries, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and Pilates.
