Laura Snyder graduated from McMaster University, Canada, with her Masters of Physiotherapy in 2012. She worked in Canada and Cairns before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2022 with her family and starting work at Kawana Sportscare. She has extensive experience working in private practice and has also worked in the hospital orthopaedic out-patient department in post-surgical, post- trauma, and post- mastectomy patient care. While living in Cairns, Laura was also the head physiotherapist for a local AFL team.
Laura has completed comprehensive training in dry needling and medical acupuncture, Pilates with the Pilates Institute of Queensland, and vestibular rehab, which includes the management of BPPV. She has also completed extra training in management of the TMJ (jaw) pain, level 1 Watson Headache Technique, and sports rehab and taping. Having two children of her own Laura also loves to help in pre and post-natal care including patients with diastasis recti.
Laura has a passion for helping her patients achieve their goals using techniques including manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, Pilates and education.
